How We Rank Non GamStop Casinos

The order of the board, where each figure comes from, and the things we deliberately do not claim.

Where the order comes from

The board follows our lineup for UK players. Two things shape that lineup: each operator’s published welcome terms, and our commercial agreements with the operators. We are paid when someone signs up through our links, and those commercial terms are one of the inputs to the order. We say so here because a comparison that hides its funding is not much of a comparison.

What commercial terms never touch is the data. Every welcome offer, wagering multiplier, minimum deposit, cashback figure and no-deposit offer on the page is the operator’s published figure, shown as it is published.

What each row shows

  • The welcome offer, as the operator words it, including how many deposits it is spread across.
  • The wagering multiplier, drawn as a bar against the heaviest requirement on the list so the difference is visible at a glance.
  • The minimum deposit that qualifies for the welcome offer.
  • One extra that the site genuinely offers: no-deposit spins, cashback, a reload or free spins.

Where a site publishes two figures that disagree, we show the stricter one and explain the difference in the copy. Gxmble is the current example: its summary says 5x, its own deposit breakdown says 35x per deposit, and we show 35x.

What we leave out

Ratings. There is no score out of ten anywhere on the site. We have no dataset that would make such a number mean anything, and a score with nothing behind it would only look like evidence.

Payout times. We have not timed withdrawals at these casinos, so we make no claims about how fast any of them pay.

Empty rows. A brand that publishes no welcome bonus does not appear on the board. One brand in our lineup is off the list for that reason and will come back if that changes.

Wagering, explained once

Because the wagering multiplier matters more than anything else on a row, the main page turns it into pounds: the amount you would need to stake to clear each £100 of bonus. At 10x that is £1,000; at 45x it is £4,500. We think that one sum does more to protect a reader than any star rating could.

How often the page is checked

The figures are checked against the lineup whenever the page is updated, and the date beside the author’s name on the main page shows when that last happened. Terms can change between updates, and the operator’s own terms always win. If you find a difference, please tell us.
